OpenAI Ad Measurement:

If you allow ad measurement, we retain a ChatGPT ad-click reference for up to 30 days. After a confirmed quote request, we may send OpenAI that reference, an opaque event ID, its time, and the general quote-page address. This event excludes contact details, form answers, driving history, and premiums. We opt the event out of user-level personalization. Measurement stays off until you allow it; we respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. You can decline or withdraw permission without affecting your quote.

Insurance Partners:

We share information you submit through quote forms with licensed insurance agents and companies to provide quotes and services. These partners are required to protect your information and use it only for intended purposes.

Service Providers:

We work with providers that support hosting and infrastructure, analytics and performance, security, communications, and customer service. These categories include Vercel for hosting, site analytics providers, and Twilio for SMS. They may process information only to provide those services to us and according to our instructions.

AI Assistant Platforms:

When you use QuoteMoto inside ChatGPT, OpenAI operates ChatGPT and transmits the tool request to our MCP server. Vercel hosts the MCP server. We do not send MCP tool inputs or results to insurance carriers, agents, or lead buyers. That sharing occurs only if you later open quotemoto.com and voluntarily submit a quote form.

Legal Compliance:

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or legal process.

We never sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We keep information only as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain reasonable business records.

• Lead records, quote requests, and related communications: up to 7 years, unless a longer period is required by law.
• Analytics and site-performance data: up to 26 months, or less when a provider applies a shorter period.
• MCP tool inputs and results: our application code processes them in memory to answer the request and does not write them to a database or log them as request content.
• Limited MCP operational metadata, such as time, route, status, latency, and IP address processed by hosting infrastructure for security and diagnostics: up to 30 days.
• Privacy requests and compliance records: as long as needed to document our response and comply with applicable law.

We may delete or anonymize information sooner when it is no longer needed. A legal, regulatory, anti-fraud, or litigation obligation may require us to keep particular records longer.

QuoteMoto offers read-only MCP tools for California auto-insurance education. MCP calls do not create accounts, leads, or policies; send messages; purchase insurance; or change coverage.

Tools, Inputs, and Results:

• get_ratefoundry_estimate receives the California ZIP area, years licensed, marital status, known rating points, product and term you provide. For an owned vehicle it also receives year, annual mileage, use, coverage and a deductible where applicable. Explicit SR-22 and good-driver discount scenarios are optional; the tool does not determine eligibility. RateFoundry computes non-binding estimates from rate-filing data and returns available or unavailable programs, assumptions and filing evidence. These are not quotes or payment plans. We do not replace a RateFoundry failure with a sample price.
• get_insurance_comparison_checklist receives a California city you name and an optional comparison topic. It returns example insurer names and questions for comparing offers; it does not verify prices, ratings or local availability.
• get_city_insurance_info receives a city you name. It returns verified California rating-factor and minimum-coverage guidance, with sources and dates. It does not provide local premium averages or risk statistics, and does not use a street address or precise device location.
• get_sr22_info receives only an optional coverage type and returns educational California SR-22 information.
• get_quotemoto_quote_link receives no data. It returns a link to the separate quote experience on quotemoto.com.

The estimate request is processed in memory by our MCP server and RateFoundry. RateFoundry's usage records, hosted by Supabase, contain only tenant, key and server-generated request identifiers, status, latency, result counts and last-use time; it does not store the rating profile, ZIP area or contact data in those records. We schedule daily deletion of request usage records older than 30 days; if the server is unavailable, the job runs when it becomes available. Tenant and key configuration, including the most recent use time, remains while needed to administer access. Redis maintains usage-limit counters. No quote request is sent to an insurance carrier or agent. Use this Policy's contact details for privacy requests. Our Cloudflare admission service processes the requesting server's source IP and uses a keyed, opaque identifier for request-limit counters. It does not store the source IP or estimate profile in its counters. Idle counters are cleared after 24 hours; Cloudflare's recovery backups may retain prior counter state for up to 30 days.

These tools do not request a name, email address, phone number, street address, precise location, license number, VIN, Social Security number, account credential, or payment information. RateFoundry results contain the disclosed rating profile, non-binding estimated amounts, filing evidence, assumptions, unavailable programs and a request identifier. Other tools return reference data, educational notices and QuoteMoto links.

Opening a QuoteMoto link requires a user action. The MCP call and link alone do not create a lead. If you open the site and submit its form, the site presents its own consent step and collects the data described in the other sections of this Policy.

OpenAI controls how ChatGPT retains your conversation content. You can stop using QuoteMoto in ChatGPT or disconnect it in ChatGPT settings, and you can use the data controls OpenAI provides for your account. To exercise rights over data QuoteMoto retains, use the contact details below.
